CII Accreditation


The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is the premier professional organisation for those working in the insurance and financial services industry. It is dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and integrity through the provision of relevant qualifications for employees at all levels and across all sectors. As part of the process of fulfilling this goal, the CII operates an independent, objective service which evaluates training provided by external organisations.

CII Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation involves a rigorous process of evaluation of techniques, content, material, objectives and methodology including observing the training sessions themselves. Accreditation is also subject to annual reviews as part of ongoing quality monitoring by the CII.

UKGI originally gained CII (CPD) accreditation for its programme of compliance training workshops in 2007. We were the first organisation in our field to obtain such recognition and we are very proud of an achievement which signifies that we have reached, and continue to maintain, an industry recognised high standard in our compliance training provision.

Explanations were clear and enriched by useful, interesting examples and illustrations...the presentation was supported by clear PowerPoint slides were detailed without being over-wordy. There were also additional handouts with clear information on Referrals and Bribery. This and the option to order UKGI supplementary reading provides a wealth of support to the delegate brokers in supporting their CPD and regulatory requirements to keep their knowledge up-to-date.
