Bob Beckett - Chairman - UKGI
Bob began his insurance career with the Ecclesiastical in 1967 then moved to Norwich Union before starting his own business in 1974 which he steered until 2003. Bob then launched Total Broker Solutions Ltd (which now trades as UKGI) and shortly after acquired the General Insurance Division of Bankhall and UKFSCL.
Bob has been an active member of the CII throughout his career and was elected National President of the CII for the 2004/05 Institute year.
Mark Wood - Group Managing Director
Mark is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years in general insurance. Mark started his career in Bermuda where he audited captive insurance companies, before moving back to the UK with AGF and Abbey National. Mark was Finance Director, then Head of Relationship Management and Customer Service within the General Insurance Division of the bank, prior to joining Broker Network in 2004 as Managing Director. Mark Joined UKGI in 2010.
Colin Calder - Non-Exec Director
Colin is a non-executive director and insurance market consultant. His knowledge and experience of the Insurance Industry in the UK is used extensively in the roles that he undertakes.
Colin has vast experience through senior positions with Commercial Union and AXA developing Broker Relationships. He was a director at Polaris for many years, representing both CU and AXA. He has also sat on various committees at ABI and CII.
